Grounding

 Since I have been writing about Cornalian. If you have seen the video I posted about cornalian you must have noticed that first property that he told about Aqeeq was that its very grounding. So  if  you are new to this stuff and do not really know what it means, I am going to tell today what is grounding and why it is important.

It basically means staying in the present moment. Most of the time people live in their heads all the time. we all are thinking something all the time. Mentally engaged in some situation that was in past or future. Talking to some one in our mind, what we should have said then or what we will say to some particular person when we meet him/her. I think most people relate with this. Actually we tend to overestimate past, underestimate future and simply ignore present. Present moment is where our power is. where we can make a difference. It is real. The real time is the NOW. You ever wonder whats the time every time. Its now, the present moment.

You have to stay present when you are doing namaz. Also when you are praying to Allah. If you are not conscious of what you are doing its not good enough. Staying present also means you are focusing on the that matter. This present moment has both past and future in it. When you do something in present your changing the future. Actually we are doing it by default all the time. The point is to be conscious of the stuff you are bringing up in future. By staying present you Design you reality which in future the way you want it. Many people say that I always wanted this and that and have got it now. Its Backus they were really conscious and present at the time they thought about that thing. Actually its true for both good and bad stuff. The present bad stuff in you life is because of you previous thought too. Its because along with some good thought as be believe Satan keep filling you mind with bad and fearful images. Remember that in Surah NAAS its said to ask peace from Waswasa that is doubts and thoughts that disturb you. It you really stay grounded and conscious you can try to ward of any evil though should it enter your head. YOu will remember to Recite Surah Naas ( that is what I do when I am distracted and Some crazy thoughts are disturbing me).

Grounding and staying present is Necessary for performing every day tasks. Like you do not want to be distracted while driving. If you are fan of Paulo Coleho's book, Alchemist. He writes about signs. YOu will only find you signs if you are present and grounded.

So that is why grounding is important. You are powerful this way. This carnelian crystal emits that energy which reminds you to be present and focused in the present moment and that is the key for success in every walk of life.

Hello people! I am going to start a blog today about crystals. My passion for crystals is although new but they have amazed me alot in this short period of time(a month). I have used Rose Quarts, Garnet, Ruby and carnalian. Carnalian which is Aqeeq is very famous in us muslims. So it has a religious importance because wearing it is Sunnah. It comes in many many different colors. I have seen Red, yellow, brown, black and pink. We can wear it in rings or it can be kept as a stone.

As I told you wearing it is sunnah, I think its really nice to start my blog with benefits of wearing it according to hadith. I am going to quote some lines here which I have found really related.

The Holy Prophet of Islam Rasooallah has said whoever wears Aqeeq his wishes will be fulfilled. A hadith from Janabe Salman Farsi states that the last Prophet requested Imam Ali to wear a ring on the right hand so that he may be listed among the Muqarrabeen (those near to Allah). The Imam asked the Prophet as to whom the Muqarrabeen were, to which the Prophet replied Janabe Jibreel and Janabe Mikaiel. Then the Imam inquired as to which stone he should wear. The prophet replied Aqeeq (cornelian), as this red stone had accepted the Oneness of Allah, the Prophethood of the lat Prophet, and the vicegerency of Ali ibne Abi Talib.

· Imam Ali ibn Abi Taleb has said wear Aqeeq on your rings, you will be blessed and will be saved from afflictions.

· Imam Jaffar e Sadiq has said that a prayer with Aqeeq is 40 times better than one without.

· Imam Musa e Kazim said that it’s a great sawab to use tasbih of Aqeeq.

· Imam Muhammad Taqi stated that Aqeeq takes away poverty and dissolves differences in ones heart.

· Imam Muhammad Baqar has stated that if a person possesses a ring set in Aqeeq and turns in towards his palm and then looks at it, and recites Surah Qadr (chapter 97), then Allah keeps him protected the whole day from trouble, wherever they are descended from heaven or earth and he will be protected until the evening by Allah, and Allah’s friend who will guide him.

· Imam Reza has said “Whoever wears a ring with an Aqeeq on it, firstly he will not become needy and secondly what God has destined for him, will be good.”
So basically each one of us should wear one and it is really affordable. Prices can vary according to the size of the stone. In my experience, even a small sized stone can do alot for you.
